Angora, a kind of wool obtained from Ankara rabbits, cannot be considered vegan because it is of animal origin. Angora wool cannot be considered vegan as there is a possibility that animals will be used or killed while producing it.

Angora wool is a product of animal origin such as leather, suede, fur, mohair and silk. At the same time, the methods of obtaining Angora wool, which is not a sustainable product, are worrying. There are cruel methods applied in the process of obtaining the fur of animals. For this reason, any method or product in which animals are exploited and killed within the scope of the vegan lifestyle is unacceptable.
