Agar – Agar is a mixture of carbohydrates obtained from red algae. It is also called Chinese glass, Chinese herb, Chinese glass, Japanese kanten, Japanese gelatin, and dai choy goh. It is used as a plant-based alternative to animal-derived gelatin.

Agar – Agar is vegan because it is a plant-based substance obtained from seaweed. It can be easily consumed by vegans and vegetarians.
